Nowadays, everything seems to be done electronically. I honestly haven’t seen an old cash register in ages. They’re all electronic devices, and aren’t just a till for money anymore. I guess I’m just reminiscing how it all used to be. I’ve almost been around for a century, and modern devices are just too complicated for me!
When my daughter took me to the store the other day, I couldn’t believe how fast the cashier checked us out. After he was done scanning everything, my daughter swiped her credit card through the device. It was done in one, two, three! I can’t believe how fast technology is nowadays. My daughter told me it’s because the store has good electronic merchant services, which makes running credit cards a snap.
